Beard-tongue is a kind of penstemmon. I have four of these plants that have dark red and green leaves. They are about 2-3 feet tall now, and the hummingbirds love them.

This is a new plant for me: a kangaroo paw plant, so named because it looks like a kangaroo paw. It's fuzzy on the outside with tiny yellow star flowers on the inside.

That's little Rocket in the tree stump. She probably found a little water in it. Tom drilled holes in this stump so it will drain because he will plant ferns in it.
