Kay Jones  > Travel > Joshua Tree National Park
These photos were taken in Joshua Tree National Park in CA in May 2005 during a heat wave when temperatures reached 102 F in the late afternoons all three days!

Kay Jones > May be a tackstem wildflower... I photographed an identical wildflower like this one in an old cemetery near Cuero, TX.
Kay Jones > Apricot mallow, really less red than the color appears here. It's natural color was more orange than red.
